3 ESSENTIALS TO INVEST IN TO SURVIVE WINTER IN COPENHAGEN
Ok, so I have been living in Denmark for past 7 years now. it took me 4 years to get used to the cold and figure out how to deal with it so now I know with each season what are complete lifesavers when it comes to clothing and accessories.
Wool in EVERYTHING. I try to make sure all sweaters and cardigans I buy now have a good portion of their make some kind of wool. It will make all the difference. My latest purchase were Milli Acne Studios wool trousers with silk lining. They are 75% wool, 5% cashmere and 20% nylon and you can't beat that during the frosty windy days here. General rule of thumb is to go half wool half synthetic thread.
I learned the hard way how biking in freezing cold gets to your bones. I was always sick. Bodystockings are a great way of getting an extra layer in and keeping your lower back semi- protected. The wind won't get under your shirt to your skin so easily.
3. HEAVY DUTY HAND CREAM
This is something I always remind myself to be more throughout about and almost always forget. The frost and wind often beat even gloves and only a consistent application of heavy duty hand cream can keep painful frost bites under control.
